REMOTE SESSIONS

Tasteful, dynamic drum tracks with a vintage vibe.

Over the past 10 years I’ve recorded at some of the UK’s finest studios, including AIR, Livingston, Toy Room and 123. I’m now drawing on that experience to offer high quality remote drum tracks, using a convenient and flexible process that avoids the need to hire a separate studio or engineer.

My setup features a great-sounding live room, industry-standard microphones and pre-amps and an extensive collection of vintage and modern drums.

I’ve delivered drums to artists and producers all over the world, including the USA, Australia, Hong Kong and Brazil. Songs I’ve played on remotely have received BBC radio play as well as over 4 million streams. With my taste and experience I’m well-equipped to create the perfect drum track for your music.

LISTEN

HOW IT WORKS

  • You send me your song, the tempo, a demo drum track if you have one and any references

  • We talk through the drum parts and sounds we’re going for

  • I schedule in the song to record, ideally when you’re also available (option available to track live using Zoom and Audiomovers)

  • I record the drum track, either sending you bounces or with you listening to the session live

  • We make any revisions needed

  • You confirm you’re happy with the final take(s)

  • You make payment via bank transfer or PayPal

  • I send you the final full multitrack files including any overdubs

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Up to 3 drum takes + simple percussion overdubs if appropriate

Raw multitrack files delivered as 24 bit, 48kHz WAVs unless otherwise requested

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Fully mixed drums with EQ and dynamics processing

  • “Simon is an absolute pleasure to work with – he is attentive to the brief, meticulous in his preparation and patient when recording. I was really impressed with the overall sound quality."

    Miles Horn, Artist

  • "He’s an incredibly professional musician, as well as being really friendly and passionate about each song you’ve written for him to play on. I honestly couldn’t recommend Simon highly enough.”

    Jacob Hilton, Artist
